I just had the wheels and tires on a 2007 X5 3.0 changed by my BMW local dealer. I changed them from the original 18 inch wheels to a 20 inch set (315/30 on the back and 270/ 40 on the front), which apparently was the set on 2006 and previous models of the X5 . I started getting a malfunction message of the TPM, few ours after getting my car from the dealer. The dealer claims that this cannot be fixed, because the set of wheels is not standard equipment on the 2007 x5. Can any one confirm this, or has any suggestions?
Thanks, Jose |

Yeah I had the same problem, I have a 2008 that I got in january, I have the 21' Black 215s on mine and 2 weeks ago the TPM message appeared I took in in and they found it was a sensor malfunction wich they replaced. So I dont know why he told you that it was because of the tires not being standard equip. that he couldn't take care of it.
