Good price or not

Getting 3.0si with Prem., Sports, Tech., Cold Weather, iPod, Running Boards, 3rd Row MSRP $59825 for $52000 +TTL (.9% financing), i.e, 500 below invoice (with Premium Pkg. credit), good deal or too good to be true?

Sounds too good to be true. At that price, the dealer is taking a loss. The invoice on that car, even after the premium package credit is around $53k. Are you sure they will not be adding back fees such as MACO, training, shipping, doc fees?

No additional fees other than TTL as per dealer. Seems like there are more incentives than just the premium pkg credit in play here. Anyone has any details on manufacturer supports other than the premium credit?

Good deal... BUT...

read the fine print, etc. etc.

if it all checks out okay, take advantage of it...

I only got $4,850 off on my new X5 3.0 order, that is including premium package credit. You got yourself a great deal. However, I ordered my X5 so it is exactly what I wanted.

And my X5 just arrived at dealer and they are getting trailer hitch installed. I hope I will get to drive it home Wednesday.

Guys:

Review this recent thread:

http://www.xoutpost.com/x5-e70-forum/...questions.html

As it discusses, many recieved pricing far below invoice. Mine was $2070 below invoice for an ordered vehicle which was delivered 15 days after the order was placed.

I agree that under invoice deals are readily available when you factor in the $2500 premium package credit. But the price quoted to the OP is not only below invoice, it is more than $2500 below invoice, meaning that even after the dealer receives credit from BMW for the premium package, it is still selling the car at a loss.

Got the X5 for 52K, Edmunds invoice was 55480 (52885 w/o Prem), so got it about 900 below invoice. The dealer had lots of X5 on the lot and he told me he was taking a loss on the vehicle. I think there is a lot of demand for the upcoming xDrive35d (diesel) that is launching in the US for the first time as an 09 model and thats why they are not able to clear the inventory. I would suggest using the following equation:-
Invoice - Premium Pkg Inv. = Good Price - Something = Even Better

Love the drive, it's awesome, way better than the 05 outgoing model I think. Looking at the oil prices fall off late makes the grin on my face even wider, I hope the oil speculation bubble has finally burst. BTW, I do have a green streak in me, hence I carpool, and my carpool buddies, both 6 feet + love the leg room they got compared to my 3 series
