Do many of you turn the climate control all the way off very often? Even if you are lucky enough to live in an area where driving with the windows/sunroof open is a frequent option, I would think you wouldn't mind a little air circulating through the vents - just turn the A/C compressor off.
with you living in texas -- i trust that the weather is hot all year around. but image the ppl like me living up north. you drive on a cold fall or winter day with the heat blowing hot air. next time upon startup (when the air is longer hot until the engine gets warm) it blows cold air when you're already cold from the weather!

Yeah my A/C is always on and the auto setting just does not go away...so to speak. I miss having the cheap-car manual controls when I'm driving short distances for sure. Long drives, I really like it the way it is though.
