Very strange. I'm sure most owners on the board really can't identify with the problems you've had. Let us know how the Lexus works out for you.

Go sit on the couch in your living room, hold a dinner plate up like a steering wheel and then fall asleep. That is how the Lexus will work out.

I totally agree, I know that I have made the right choice with my X because I don't have any regrets 20,000K & 14 months later.
I have several immediate family members with ML's, Q7's and Lexus who have been back to the dealer with issues more times than they can recall and now wish they had purchased an X5 instead.
I hope you have better luck with your next choice.

His SAV profile says 2007 and 3.0si.

Maybe MDX will be better than the Lexus.

Hi, I handed back my X5 07 and got it replaced with the revised X5 08. Yes, you can get lemons but I think the main point is that you don't buy the first release of a new model. Wait until the first 12 months and the revision comes out, although there were only minor changes it pays in the long run.

As soon as my X5 is 12 months old and the X6 has it's revision which will be around Nov/Dec I will order a X6 for Jan 09 production. The bugs should be all shorted by then.

You should wait till spring 2009 production if you want the new iDrive and hard drive based infotainment system and some more goodies.

I had a feeling that Australia may get this upgrade in Jan 09 production onwards. Will wait and see.
