Comfort seats vs. Sport seats??

Hey all, I was wondering for all you out there that have the comfort seats, how much difference is there in fit and feel than that sport seats?? I have the sport seats and like them OK but they seem a little hard, although I do like that way they "hold" you in. But my wife, mom, etc. have a hard time getting in and out of them because of the lip on the outer edge of the seats. Also, would it possible to order comfort seats and replace the sports seats, or do you have to do that originally from the factory??

Thanks!

You can order the comfort seats alone ($2,100) or combined with the sport package ($1,200), but you automatically get the sports seats if you choose the sport package.

I can relate to your issue since my wife liked the comfort seats better than the sport seats. Since I am the primary driver of the car I have decided for the sport seats. That is the question you will have to answer: Who will drive the car more often? If it is your wife get the comfort seats. If it is you, just get the sport seats. They are great. Good luck.

^ I don't know where you find $2100... (maybe only after a build?) I 'build my own' and it shows +$1200 with or without sport package.

It would've been comfort seats for me if they actually credit you ($$) the sport seats that they "take back". I mean people going from plain seats to comforts are paying the same amount as we would even though we've paid for sport package in full. I am happy with my sport seats but like you say other people have a difficult time getting in and out.

You are right. I quoted the ventilated seats+comfort seats = $2,100. Comfort seats alone are $1,200.

This thread reminds me of the debate sport package vs. no sports package. There is no right or wrong here. Try both seats and decide which one fits your needs better.

Can sport seats be switched to comfort seats if you already have the vehicle??I'm not sure if there are any build differences but I'd imagine the seats should just be interchangeable..Although w/ BMW you never know!!

Thanks!

No. The seats are completely different and the cost of doing that would be ridiculous.
