Does your wife like the HUD?

Sorry for the sexist assumption, but I assume it is mostly men who are geeky enough to think a head's up display is cool or would otherwise order interested in such a feature. Since my wife will be the primary driver of an X5, for those of you with the head's up display, does your significant non-techy other use it or like it?

I don't think she even noticed it!

For me, I find the HUD very convenient only when using the navigation; I don't have to keeping looking back at the idrive screen.

I don't use it to check how fast I'm driving though... I like looking at the speedometer for it.

I've driven several with HUD and I love it, but I'm not a wife, so I guess I don't count, either.
