Adjusting that to $2,000 over invoice, that would bring you down to $809. With a $4,000 cap cost reduction, that would bring you down to $689. For the sake of bumping it up a little further, we are talking about $725/month max you should be paying for this car with that large of a cap cost reduction. Horrible, horrible deal. Run away from this dealer.
wow how you'd get from $868 to $725? are you talking about discounts? im not getting any discounts so the higest payment on the x5 i want should be 868 with no money down? please enlight me here

No, there is an extra 36 in there. Take out that number, and you are closer. However, you still have taxes and other items in there confusing the issue.

All that really matters is what you end up paying.

Somewhere between 36% and 59% I'd say. Impossible to tell without all the lease details.

It is just my opinion, but if you don't understand every charge on the lease calculation, and all of the assumptions, then you shouldn't be leasing.

well the reason why im leasing is because i really dont wanna drive the same truck for more than 3 years and the only way for me to change the truck every 3 years is with leasing cuz i cant afford to buy the the truck all upfront and then resell it after 3 years...too much money loss and i dont have money so..

how many more times to you have to be told that it's a bad deal?

call the dealer, get the actual residual and money factor and go here:

http://www.leaseguide.com/calc.htm

and figure out what your monthly should be. If you don't know the residual and money factor before you lease a car, then you shouldn't be leasing.

You are asking questions without understanding the basics of what leasing is, and what the various factors are. We can't help you without information. The money factor and actual residual are a great start.

I am not sure who mr canadian is, but if you mean me, I suggested that the residual is somewhere inbetween the 36% that you calculated incorrectly, and the 59% that BMW is apparently offering at this time. I did not say that it was 59%. I don't know what BMW is offering, because there is no way that I would personally lease a car. Not saying that is right for you, but in my personal situation, leasing sucks.

Now, go to the web site that you were provided above, and figure out what information you need. It will include the money factor, residual, and all extra service charges. Then go to your dealer and ask for those figures. Then go back to the web site and plug in those figures. Pretty straightforward.

Many here have tried to help you, but it has to start with you helping yourself. Sorry if that is a hard fact to hear.

At an MSRP of 57k
Cap Cost 57k (you are "buying" the car at MSRP)
Cap Cost reduction of 4k
Dealer upcharge of .5% on the APR/Money Factor
Residual of 59% based on 36 months (current OCT rates)

You payment should be 737.30 plus tax.

To be honest, I can't even fathom getting to $900 without the dealer selling you the car for 4k OVER MSRP and adding even more of an upcharge on the Money Factor.
mm i see, so if the payment should be 737.30 and you add taxes to the payment can you tell me how much would that add up to the payment? i think taxes are $3700
