yellowed rotors

What's the yellowing from? Have spotted water stains as well as solid (consistent) stains all over but they are yellow on all 4 rotors. Pads aren't yellow are they? Doesn't look like rust and no it's not a reflection from the sun/bright sky. It wipes off with hard rubbing though I wasn't sure I wanted to do that.

It is rust and it's completely normal. You'll get it right after heavy rain or when washing the vehicle. It disappears as soon as you apply the brakes.

Oxidization that's all.

i think it's just mild rust. break dust and the rotor it self can oxidize you know, it has iron in it so... a couple of good firm breaking should get that right off.
