'09 Tail Lights

I was passing by a dealer tonight and noticed what must have been an '09 X5 as the tail lights looked slightly different. It was dark and I didn't stop- were they changed slightly or maybe a different type of plastic ?

was it a brand new car or second hand (could you tell from where you were??) if 2nd hand maybe the prev. owner tinted the tail lights,

AUU 555 (another user) has a slight tint on his tail lights (very sharp)

When you say looked different, was there anything Besides colour/tint - did the shape look any different.?

Cosmetically, there shouldn't be anything different from 08 and 09, or so I've read.

There are no exterior differences between the 2009 and 2008 X5s, except for the new xDrive badge.

Right, no changes I could see other than the XDrive badge. They had a couple at my dealer and I sat inside one of them looking for the new I drive that wasn't there...

Yeah I thought that. Cheers.

Is there a internal BMW PDF etc, which just lists the changes (even there are only a couple) floating around....??
