it won't recognize words not already programmed in (like the keywords in your manual) as far as I know.

What do I have?
Mine has recognized all my contact's names from the very first time I paired my IPhone, as well as the GF's... I didn't program anything...just paired up.. And now just say "dial JoeBlow"... then say "yes", when it asked me to call JoeBlow... Or are we talking about using a cradle or something different?

Yeah, there is built in voice recognition. Not very good but it does work, sometimes
No need for any programming. Though programming will improve name recognition.Cheers

I agree with previous posts that X5 does recognize voice commands. For example, you can press the 'voice command' button on the steering wheel and wait for the beep. Then, say "dial Joe". Based on the pre loaded address book, it will respond for confirmation.

as for the First Aid kit, i looked up on the manual, and supposedly its near the amplifier in the truck, i opened that up , and nothing.....
