Depending on your driving style. I get about 20,000 kms on the fronts.

I'm at 5k right now and they still look brand-spanking-new. I'm expecting 15000-20,000.

I had to change them about 12,000miles.
Fronts worn out really fast...

How would you describe your driving style?

I would say 6.
(1 for driving like a priest, 10 for driving like I stole it )
They were 20'' factory-equipped Dunlop summer performance tires.

i am using yoko advans (non run flats) and have covered 16,000 km. Still looks brand new. 90% of time drive very conservatively. ie smooth stop/start, use of gears for engine braking, cover mostly highway miles and maintain enough distance that I can just release accelerator if car in front brakes. Do not often use brakes unless coming to stop. other 10% of time errr......

That's exactly how I drive too- engine breaking, slow steady driving most of the time. I try to keep using the breaks to a minimum because of dust, but about 10% of the time

I have my summers off right now and my winters on and I can tell already (5000k) that the summer fronts are down more than the rears but still they look brand new. I'm starting to suspect that the tread depth between the fronts and the rears are actually different from the get-go: could someone confirm that??
