X5'S Built and Delivered in 3 weeks?
Does anybody know the current wait time if I were to custom order an z5 now? I live in NYC? I was told 3-4 weeks, but that sounds aggressive to me.

It only takes about a week for one to be built. If you have a production slot, I can't see why not...

Mine was built in that time frame.

Depends on the dealer's number allocation spots and their production status. If a dealer has a car ready to go into production yet it is not a sold order, they can easily modify that car to your specifications, provided you give them a deposit. Thus is the flexibility of BMW's manufacturing structure. You can even take advantage of Priority One options (Saddle brown leather, aluminium interior trim, Vermillion Red exterior).
