Is This Charactoristic Or Mechanical Problem?

Hello to everyone. I am a newbie with a question.

I recently purchased a used 2007 3.0 with the Sport Package. I've had it for a week and overall I am very pleased.

My question is as follows:

I've noticed that at slow turning speeds the steering wheel does not come back around to center that easy after a turn.

I have a 2006 3 series and after a turn the steering wheel pretty much comes back to center on it's own. The X5 is very different in that regard. I have to give it a decent amount of assist to get it back to center.

Is this a normal charactoristic of the X5, or is this a symptom of a problem?

My tires are inflated to 32 PSI as per the manual.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
