Introduction

Hi All,

Am brand new to this thread and a BMW newbie. Tomorrow I will be picking up my first ever BMW, a brand new E70 in space grey with cream interior. Car is the 3.0 version (unfortunately cars are exceptionally cost prohibitive here in Singapore, otherwise I would have loved the 4.8), and will be replacing our three year old Volvo XC90 T6 HS9 converted Swedish workhorse.

Cant wait for 3pm to be initiated into the BMW fraternity. Will post pictures as soon as I pick up the new family transport. Already assessing the wheel/tyre and body kit options.

Look forward to learning from all the experts here. Cheers!

Can't be that cost prohibitive considering what you already own.

Haha... they were bought a long, long time ago before the world economy went into madness...

Would you believe the X5 3.0si is costing me the equivalent of USD320k.. a pretty sad situation due to huge taxes on cars here...
