Because I'll be running to the nearest MB dealer with check in hand.BTW if I wanted a SUV with gargantuan openings in the bumper I'd have purchased a Cayenne. Funf Dreisig |

Frankly the size/styling of the current X5 was a stretch for us -- too big and too bulbous. The facelift version would have been a no-go. Funf Dreisig |

New from Carscoop:
We've just landed these fresh spy shots of the extremely subtly facelifted BMW X5 SUV that was caught testing without any camouflage at all. And truth to be said, there's no need for any type of body cladding as the only styling change compared to the current model is the newly designed front bumper with larger air-intakes that house the repositioned fog lights. And yes, the new bumper is identical to the one found on the X6 SAV. Though that's the only visible styling change on this particular prototype model, our sources state the production model will also feature a subtly revised rear bumper, new alloy wheel designs and updated trim in the interior. The X5's engine line up will remain for the most part unchanged with the exception of the new 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo diesel unit that makes 306 horsepower at 4,400 rpm and a peak torque of 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) at just 1,500 rpm while there's also talk about the revised 3.0-liter turbocharged straight-six petrol that generates 326HP in its latest guise, up from 306HP. 2010 BMW X5 Facelift Shows its Face in new Spy Shots - Carscoop |
