e70 bmw update

Hi,

Can i update my bmw x5 e70 with navigation proffesional idrive. Can i do it by myself ore only the garage can do it?

Honestly I don't see how you can do it with or without the prof nav.

So far only a BMW service centre can do an upgrade, I had mine upgarded recently & it took 5 hours, so I was told by my service advisor.

If it can be done @ home please tell, Im all open eyes & ears.
