can i order the sports package w/ leatherette? or do i have to have the leather

How come you don't call the dealer and ask them?

I'm not 100% positive, but from my understanding the answer is no. You have to get one of the 3 leather choices. Either the basic Nevada, perforated Nevada or the Nappa.

You could just use the build your own feature on BMW's website.

To answer though, since the Sport Package has Sport Seats, you need to get leather seats.
