No No...I got 17 with the 335. I'm getting 12-13 with the 4.8

i get 17 with my '08 4.8i X5 in mixed local driving. always have.

I once managed 30 mpg with my E70 4.8 and I posted it on this forum somewhere Mind you it took some doing .. basically I had to float to my destination
