Ipod integration E70 2007
I just want my ipod to play on the X5 with the same quality sound that I get from the cd player. This quality is not there using the aux in. Appreciate any help. Thanks |

I use this product; SendStation - Products - PocketDock Line Out USB
The quality of sound is only limited to the bit rate in which it was recorded. Read the literature, it does not charge the player nor can you control the player via external means. It is however the best substitute that I have found for not having the oem ipod integration. |

I have installed the Dension Gateway 500 a few times in E70's with very good results, both on SQ level as on functional level (ease of use + speed of use + overall use of menus and shortcuts)
all via Idrive .... |

you might want to check the AUX cable that you're using, maybe you've got a faulty lead somewhere...
I use my ipod in my X70 all the time, I hardly ever listen to the radio, and the quality is the same as listening to the CD player
