If not, then how about the DTB-V (whatever it is) digital TV tuner, does that need a button?
TV is controlled by iDrive, no button required, yes 1 & 9 would be a left & rightside of car control but what for? we have covered everything!

Still leaves button 7?

So its not nightvision camera, side and front camera, or for towing?
I thought I got it right.

I think they are there to make us to think about what we are missing.

Took a while to figure it out for the E53 X5, I'm sure we'll get it for the E70. Of course it is possible that they have not yet been assigned.

Afraid not, that's just how it is on the 7 series.

Can anyone identify the right most button in this grouping? It's from the new E70 facelift model and also present in the X5 M, X6 M catalog. From left to right it looks like:

- Park Distance Control
- Traction Control OFF
- Hill Decent Control
- Tailgate Open
- ?

Side view camera. It looks like a camera. One of the new 5er vids shows a button with a camera on it. Just a guess.

That's actually a pretty good guess. Can anyone verify it?

Figured out #7. So here is the tally so far:

1. Blank
2. Active Seat for driver
3. Park Distance Control (PDC) / Rear view camera with Top View /
4. Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) off / Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) off / M Dynamic Mode (MDM)
5. Hill Descent Control (HDC)
6. Unlocking/opening Liftgate
7. Side View
8. Active seat for passenger (so far only available on Euro spec X5's)
9. Blank
