can i jack up the e70 like this?
i didnt seem to see a spot for that under the e70 when i did the oil change. i ask because if i use one of the 4 jack points noted in the manual, i can't put a jack stand at that jack point because the hydraulic jack has occupied all the space. perhaps there's a spot in the rear of the car as well so once i jack up the car i can put two jack stands at the rear simultaneously. |

Every BMW I have had has a front centre jacking point. The challenge sometimes is getting a trolley jack into it past the air dam, but that isn't a problem with an X5. You have to position the jack under the rectangular pad, or you will likely hear a cracking sound as you break the shield, or cause other damage.
