E70 LPG
Cost of installation is abt 2200 USD, but with the gas prices going up again I may be forced to do it early. Has anyone done it on e70? Anyone has some experience or will I be the pioneer. |

do you know how far you'll need to drive to make the LPG retrofit break even?

Gasoline: 0.95 Eur/L at the moment in Croatia LPG: 0.44 Eur/L My consumption is now 16.9L/100kms which will increase 10% with LPG so I expect abt 18.5L/100kms. Gas 16.9 x 0.95= 16.005 Eur/100kms LPG 18.5 x 0.44= 8.096 Eur/100kms It is exactly half the price so if I want to return my 1900 Eur, I need to drive 23500 kilometers which is my 4 month time. For us Europeans it make a huge difference because of petrol costs. If I was in the States I would neve think of it since it is even cheaper than LPG. |
