Yup - that is about five layers....do it one layer at a time and let each dry - it worked for me -- the first two layers or so are very faint/light....I practiced on an old 535i rear light - it had red/orange/clear lenses so I could see how each layer came out before doing the X.

If you want a high quality paint job, I would not get the ebay sprays.

I went to a local body shop and had the guy mix clear coat and a little black.
Then, finished it with strait clear coat.
Perfect glossy finish like OEM. Wont scratch off like the ebay shit. No messy spots.

I've gone both routes at highly recommend letting a body shop do it with a proper clear coat.

The spray is great! I tinted my amber reflectors with it. But I recommend taking the lights off and putting them upright facing the sky for the best results
