on the steering wheel telescoping...

I just noticed today after getting the latest firmware over 2 weeks ago that it doesn't telescope in and out anymore when exiting/entering the vehicle. That's what I actually wanted since it's undue wear on the motor... so if you guys were wondering... I know some people do like that though... I don't see an option to enable/disable through idrive.

Same thing happened on our 7 - they did a "battery reset" and the steering wheel began retracting again...

To get it to work again (i think the motor might actually be designed to do numerous duty cycles) you need to recalibrate it by adjusting manually all the way in and then all the way out. Then adjust it to your preferred setting and reprogramme the seat memory for either the M1 or M2 button.
