on the steering wheel telescoping...
 I know some people do like that though... I don't see an option to enable/disable through idrive.

To get it to work again (i think the motor might actually be designed to do numerous duty cycles) you need to recalibrate it by adjusting manually all the way in and then all the way out. Then adjust it to your preferred setting and reprogramme the seat memory for either the M1 or M2 button.
