road force balance cost?

anyone know how much the dealer charges for this? I tried calling my 2 local dealers and 1 didn't pick up (on 2 occasions) and the other was just a secretary type who wasn't sure what road force even was. It must be road force btw.

I have an independent place asking $30/wheel and if the dealer is almost the same I'd rather them do it.

Is it crazy just to get the 2 rears done if the vibration is in the seats and not in the steering wheel?

Sure the vehicle has not been sitting for awhile and you have flat spots / out of round tyres. This happened on my AMG, hot tyres cooling down on cold conrete and then sitting for a week.

Also found I had to ask the tyre balancer to dial there balancing machine down to 0% spec and not the 5% they usually run too!

I'll have to make sure of the % threshold they use.

I use the vehicle everyday so it's not just because it's been sitting. Still trying to track down their prices.

EDIT>>> "high speed balancing" for $65/tire.
