Camera in main screen (which puts the navigation in the smaller screen on the right).
Am I missing an option?...or do I need to do something with the satnav so that it stops appearing in right screen. I don't need navigating when I'm going backwards.
Hi,
Mine 07,10 from U.S and I dont needed any software update. I just go through Manual Service information. Here you are:
1.Go to Settings.
2. "Vehicle/ Tires.
3. Maneuvering aids.
4. Settings.
5. Choose "View selection"
6. Mark "Camera picture and PDC".
7. Go back to "Maneuvering aids" option "Settings".
8. Mark options "Pathway line", "Obstacle marking", "Turning lines".

Thats all

If you need, I can sent to you pdf file (9Mb) by email.

The combined PDC/Camera view was not available until September 2007. Any vehicle manufactured prior to that needed a software update to get it.

Try and complain about something else.. e.g steering wheel memory doesn't work all the time .. or ipod drops to FM.. otherwise they may charge as it is not a real bug but an enhancement.. I managed to get mine by compalining about the steering wheel not returning to set position after retracting ..good luck !!!
