How to track my X5 after it leaves the factory?
Is there a way to track the status of the carrier, like you can on a ship coming from Germany? How long do you think it will take to get to Seattle from South Carolina? |

Yes, you can track the status on BMWUSA.com It says "Track a new BMW from the factory to your driveway".
The 800 number is often more up-to-date but it's good to check both |

I'd guess a week to get there. It was supposed to take 3 days from SC to NY but somewhere along there it was delayed a couple days (the dealer nor even the 800 number person knew what happened to it)... then the dealer finally got it and had to take a couple days to prep it for delivery.

I know there's some kind of 'transport mode' but never actually understood why..
