Sounds like you need top revert to original springs and rear links. Your ride height will increase, but so will comfort.

If any of you want to lower your ride, i will be more then happy to exchange my spring for the normal 4.8i spring.

The ride is unbearable to be honest.

Guys i was thinking to get spacers for my ride, you have seen the pics of my car in the beggining of this thread.

To be honest with you, i have no idea which spacers to get, or even what to look for, can you guys help me pick one out please?

I was lookin on Amazon, just to look, and i came up on this, there are 5 choices which one is normal?

I mean i dont want it to stick out too much, just like most of the people on this forum that would be normal for me, could you please take a look?

H&R spacrs are the best IMHO.. if you go 25mm or 30mm these will bolt on to the hub then you can use your original wheel bolts to attach to these .... if you go 20mm or less you'lll need longer wheel bolts as the spacer is attached to the wheel using the wheel bolts... there are mixed reports of using spacers on the front.. I would aoid them and only go a spacer on the back as this is where the stance is most noted .....again IMHO.

Hello everyone, i finally went ahead and took the H&R springs off, and went back to stock springs, also took the rear links off, and installed the stocks, the difference is huge, the ride got very comfortable and smooth.

The lowering springs turned out to be HARTGE springs, have no idea if they are good or bad, expensive or cheap but for sure they made me hate my X, to be honest now i love my X and finally after 3 months of having it, i started enjoying my X just now.

The previous owner, really worked hard to lower this X, he installed Hartge springs, and when i took the X to the BMW center, they took the front shocks apart and found out that the yellowish rubber little round things where cut in half by a knive almost in half for it to be lower, so it could go with the hartge springs, anyways, just want to tell everyone that love the X now, and the rear squicks from the trunk got much quiter thanks to the new springs
