Man. Stop dealerships told me that the 35d is in such high demand that there is a wait list just for production slots (all taken). Crazy.

Amazing what $4,500 can do. I think BMW just found out that a lot of Americans want a diesel, they just don;t want to pay $3,700 for the privilege.

One sales guy at a dealership, when I asked about a diesel, said "you can't get those now."

I'll bet a lot of dealers regret those "$500 over invoice" deals they did in August (I didn't get one of those, I did a $1,200 deal)

Yeah. All the dealers I talked to won't budge from MSRP (for Priority 1) cars. They will only pass on the $4500 eco credit. But that's it.

Cruised into the German BMW site - their car "Konfigurator" has the 10 Edition Package available so you get to see Sophisto Grey on...plus all their other cool models.
