retarded. I don't mean to be a dick by saying that, either; 10 years from now you'll look back and agree. The only question is whether you'll have gone ahead with it anyway...
It'd be one thing if you had ridiculous cashflow, but you don't. You're planning this out piece by piece, and by the time you're done, the car will be 'the old body style' anyway, and you'll have not only lost $43k, but depreciated your perfectly-good 3.0l X5 even further. Seriously. Give your alternatives a little more thought...
Nobody envies a guy with a flashy 'kustom' car with a little motor, anyway.
(I like the look of this one... but definitely not for the money, and without V8 pipes it's like McLovin's voice coming from a pimp).
