35d cash incentive?

Has anyone heard about BMW giving $4,500 cash on the purchase of an '09 35d? I had the day off today so we went to check out the cargo space of an Escalade (my wife travels w/ the baby stroller, the running stroller, and then picks up a few bags along the way). Once leaving the caddy dealer we stopped by to see how the strollers fit in a 30i but she was drawn to the diesel and the salesman mentioned the cash back till the end of the month plus $1,800 tax credit would make the 35d worth consideration over the 30i. Also the station we fill up at has diesel at $2.59/gal for the past week or so.

Very true. Check the other posts. There are a few including myself that have jumped on that deal. You should be able to negotiate around invoice and then deduct the 4500.00.

Shame on me for not catching that thread when searching. Still waiting to see about a pending housing deal so not buying "today" but just shopping to see what my wife feels comfortable driving and that'll fit both strollers comfortably. LR3 & Q7 already knocked off the list and you know I'm pushing for the X5 but after all it'll be her car.
