Looks amazing Poleposition! Glad the links worked out for you. Also thanks for mentioning me in your thread. Can you email some pics? [email protected] I'd like to use them for my up coming website.

Those are actually the OEM 215's (21"). The 214's are the 20" OEM wheels.

Do you notice any difference going from the 214s to the 215s? The 215s are definately much bigger, heavier and wider. Just wondering if it compromises handling, acceleration and braking by lugging that extra weight and size. I feel the bumps more after lowering it and I'm wondering how much worse it gets by going to an even lower profile tire like the 325's in the rear!

I noticed BMW decided to stick with 20" wheels for the X5-M instead of 21"...

The OP never had the 214's. His X5 came with the 19's which he's using for his Winter Wheels and he purchased the 215's from a private party, so he never did feel the difference.

HOWEVER, I have driven the OP's X5 many times and it feels EXACTLY the same as my 214's. Since both sets of wheels utilize Dunlop RUN-FLATS, the feel and feedback from the road is pretty much the same, since both tires have very strong reinforced sidewalls. There's not much feedback in terms of feel with a RF Tire, such as these. That said, the feel and handling is identical.

Are the 215's available only in Ferric Gray and Black? How about the standard silver - I cannot seem to locate silver?
