Actually, yes, if its brand new, etc....I did research for close to 1 month with many dealers in my area. The prices ranged from $800.00, 826, 899, 905, etc. The key is the amount charged for paint and installation with me. Some dealers wanted 10 hours
. Some shops wanted $600 for paint.
If you have the patience (I learned to have patience on this one,) the good dealers will work with you. I was able to get the Aero kit done at Prestige BMW for 908.25 parts, 373.28 labor and 300 paint. It took a lot of back-n-forth and a call to their SVC and PRTS managers, but I got it done.
I originally wanted the kit that was pre-painted by BMW to eliminate the paint charge (most were in the $600 range,) but 3 out of 5 dealers I spoke to either couldn't fnd the part # (I knew it existed) or told me that they could not get it in the states. The other two were charging me the same cost as to buy the part and get it painted. One dealer was only charging me $1,015 for the painted kit, but couldn't get the part (BS.) It was all BS, because they wanted the paint labor.
