Who's taken delivery of an X5 recently? Question-

I've heard that with the current economy BMW has cut costs by doing away with the nice little extras in new cars like the complete toolkit, leather binder for owner's manual, dash flashlight, etc. Can anyone add any details - what's missing? I'm picking up a new X5d via PCD next month. Thanks-

the complete toolkit and dash flashlight were gone a while ago. You still get parts of a tool kit and should get your owners manual in a semi leather binder

Is the flashlight charger still there if I pull my flashlight from my current car? And what tools are given/missing?

no flashlight for me ... that was back at the end of april. I think the flashlights went away across the model range. I didnt get one in my 2008 m3. Its probably because the new flashlights are LED based, and theres really no need to charge them, as the battery lasts forever.

I got mine about 10 days ago. I got the leather binder! I had to negotiate for the spare tire and jack kit. One dealer told me it should have been included (non three row). It was not part of the car (purchased from inventory). Car has RFT but I plan to loose them soon.
Got a key ring too (joy!).

Good luck with your new truck! I like mine more and more each day.
