The Rear View Camera in ZTP Technology Package is amended with Top View. The package price is increased by $200 to $2,800.

ZAP Sport Activity Package is available for $2,200. The contents are:

RE: Rear View Camera, anyone know if that means the updated camera has been enhanced? The current version is so grainy and almost useless at night so if this were the case, it would be great to know if it can be a plug 'n' play direct upgrade.

Also, RE: the Sport Activity Package, does this mean w/out Adaptive Drive you are in full time Sport Suspension mode? Glad I got my ZSP Sport Package pre '10, but then again I leave my setting in Sport mode all the time so maybe it's not such a loss?...

THis sucks! I ordered a 2010 and my SA told me that there wasn't an option for gray leather. We were hoping it was a mistake. Why do they need to different browns?

This is interesting:

The Roof Rails are removed from the standard profile and are now available as an option for $100.

If you google the 2011 LCI pics, many of them have no roof rails. Makes me wonder if we'll see that horrendous bumper early (not that I like the old one either).

Also would like to know about the camera for retrofit purposes but I don't hold out much hope.

Adaptive drive is constantly adjusting for body roll which the sport button doesn't do as I understand it, so it would be a loss - question is - for $3500 is it a big deal for people? I don't know if the stiffer sport suspension is included or not in that sports activity package though, doesn't appear to be. Like I mentioned in that other thread, it looks like a huge price increase to get the same full sports package. $5700 vs $3700. A difference is the titanium kidneys, unsure about the sports suspension.

Thanks for the insight...

Ouch, that's a big price jump. I'll have to go and check what exactly the M-Sport package option consists of, but if confirmed that it comes with Adaptive Suspenion, wheels, and pretty little M exterior then that may be the "more value" buy vs. the new Sport Pack and Adaptive Drive combo. Glad I don't have to wrestle w/this decision.

RE: Camera, yeah - not holding my breath on this one but would be good to know if an OEM upgrade were possible.

^ one thing that just came to mind, do all X5s get dynamic performance control yet? I know the Ms will. And will it be standard or in sport, etc?
