Windshield Wipers Not Working on my 09' E70!

Yesterday i got pulled over by cops in the rain ( i made an illegal left turn in times square )...the cop was leaning over on the car with his hand hanging over the front windshield while he was talking to me..i thinkkkkkk he mightve hit the wiper as it was in motion because it was raining on. All i know is that i noticed the wipers were stuck in place while it was wiping. As i drove away i was trying to turn them on and off but it seems that the WHOLE front windshield functions on the car dont work (auto rain sensor, slower, faster wiper speeds)...however the back windshield functions work just fine. So i stop the car and i turned the car on and off, and the pressed the slow speed function of the front windshield wiper and it went down, however i went to test it again and it got stuck again....when i press the wipers it makes a 30 seconds vibrating noise, and as i was on the way home i was messing around with it and every so often the washer fluid shot out when i tried pressing the washers, other times it didnt.

i was realllllyy pissed..i pressed the SOS for some troubleshooting but all they can offer was roadside assistance to tow the car which i wasnt doing it was 1 in the morning.

The onllllyy suspicion i have that may be the culprit of the problem is that i hit a pothole insanellllyyyy hard on the way to the bar on the front passenger side wheel of the car , which is where the fusebox is located as i read in the manual. But even after i hit that pothole i was looking for a parking spot for about 20 minutes and everything was working fine even the wipers because it was raining yesterday.

i cant do anything now because its sunday and the service center is closed, but if i can save time and not let them touch my car (its only 4 and half weeks old!!!) id love to...

any thoughtss?????????

did you check the fuses to make sure everything is tight and not blown?

Hey thunder, thanks for the reply...i did the check the fusebox located on in the trunk on the right side detachable panel, and i cant find the the exact fuse for it, i looked at the diagram thats provided and theres no symbol for the wipers only for the back ones...but anyway i checked all the fuses that were there and none of them appeared to be loose or blown..i did check one of the fuses and pulled it out and it happened to be the fuse for my idrive i thought i messed up the idrive )

would anyone happen to know which fuse is for the front windshield wiper?

yes. take it to the dealer. you let a Cop F it up, you should at least give the dealership equal oppurtunity.

oh wait, you F'd up.

it sounds like the thing is stripped.

i found the problem, but i still have to take it to the dealer...the wipers must be off track or something because i tried moving the wipers manually and i actually forced them all the way out then back in..i pressed the wiper button and it went back down. However when i press the button to the wipe position it gets stuck again...so yea that cop mustve smacked it out of place...i dont want no X3 courtesy car though!!!
