Pic Request - 2010 35d with Navi and new iDrive
Those of you who took delivery this month of their 2010 35d, can you please post pics of your new iDrive?

Im still waiting for my production number for a 2010 XDrive 35d and cant wait to see pics of the new iDrive on an X5. Sorry if i miss other posts that already have those pics...

BMW has not yet started production of 2010 X5s--a week ago they were still making 2009 models--so nobody will be able to show you the pic you asked for. BUT, the new iDrive is currently available in the 2009 7 series, M3, etc. so numerous pics of the actual screen exist.

Agree with above. 2010 production estimated 10/9/09 but we do not get the larger screen, just switches, program and harddrive.

I'm also one of those impatient 2010 X5d buyers waiting for build and delivery...so I will break the news to ya

1. Building of the 2010 X5's start Oct 9th in Spartanburg (the 2010 X5 M has already started production and deliveries)

2. The earliest delivery date will be in November.

So, sorry - we are going to have to wait for some pics since last I heard...they haven't converted the plant to start cranking out the 2010's.

Maybe the recent 2009's that have been build might have the new iDrive? Unsure about this though.


EDIT: WOW, thought I was the first one to respond...damn I'm slow.

Hmmm...I think we DO get the larger 8.8" screen...but maybe someone else can confirm.

I read on another board that we do not get the new 7 series iDrive screen but I DO hope you are right...

im such a , because all these times i thought GoVols and EyeGuy's 35d's were 2010s...

does anyone of you have links to those pics from new the 7 series or m3's?

I assume that the i-drive screen difference between with nav and without nav will continue in the 2010 models? (without nav you currently get a smaller screen).

wow, i read some of Leman's post regarding the new iDrive, and boy do they look much better than the current iDrive... another reason for me to be excited...
