It looks like the control module stopped communicating with the motor in the trunk. They are replacing the module and it should be ready today.

That's great. I have an air temp. sensor that's been on order since August 4th.

Got the car back, seems to be working fine now. Dropped the car off Monday morning, ready Tuesday afternoon and everything was covered under warranty.

Thanks for the follow up info.

FWIW I'm seriously not looking forward to dealing with the various E70 electrical gremlins reported on this and other X5 boards, even when they are covered under the warranty.

sounds like good service, mind sharing which dealer you use on LI? I am still trying to find one I can trust.
