seatbelt clip leaving dings

so i've had my e70 for less than 1 year. sometime if i remove seatselt too quick the clip retracts and hits the panel next to it. not sure what it's call. A pillar or B pillar. now the area has tiny dots of damage, black interior makes it more visible. i guess it's kind of unavoidable since the material isn't very strong.

anyone else has this issue? not sure what i can do about it. as time passes it will get worse regardless of how careful i am.

i thought about having someone make a piece of black brushed aluminum and stick it there but i have no idea who offers this kind of service and how it would look.

any ideas?
