Comments on Multimedia interface

I am planning to buy this aftermarket interface and a rear camera. I learned that from other X6 forum. The nice things about this is no prgroamming required by dealer (Plug and Play) and have 5 Audio inputs - 1 input dedicated to rear camera, other 4 inputs could be for ipod video to Nav screen, front camera or PS3 etc. It is control from the steering wheel and iDrive. Also, I found BMW made one called ACM unit part no. 65500441372 but costs twice as much as the aftermarket and do not provide as many functions as the aftermarket one.

I was wondering if anyone know about this aftermakret unit. My X5 does not equipped with rear camera and I want to get somethinkg that integrated with Nav screen while doing reverse and no programming required from the dealer plus extra video input for future expansion.

other thread mentioned the warranty may be voided... you sure about doing this?

This seems to be pretty good of what I need (Better quality camera, half the price of factory retrofit rear camera and future expansion like front camera and video inputs etc). But not sure this will void my warranty..... Any comments are welcome!
