Is't possible that there isn't any intake system for the 4.8i E70 in the market ? can the old 4.8is fit somehow ?

This is just my opinion, but I don't think that an intake will make much of a difference. The intake tubes have a straight run into the engine and bring cold air from the front, so the air isn't heat soaked.

Now some better air filters might make a difference though!

Just my take on things!

AU555...Leave the damn air intake the way it is! It's not going to make any difference. Obviously the BMW engineers came up with the most efficient design for the vehicle. Chances are you will only make it worse. And most cars with an aftermarket intake have an annoying whistling sound when you accelerate. The biggest difference will only be in your head, like those rice pushers who drive Honda Civics with a big muffler. They think it's faster 'cos it's louder!

I dont think that would help, you should instead try to find a turbocharger that can be installed in your car. I have been researching this, but haven't found any for E70.

I have found a place in Abu Dhabi , that installs the 4.4 twin turbo engine on the X and changes all the needed parts, all that comes with a warranty !!
