Use 303 aerospace protectant!

303 Products, Inc.: 303 Aerospace Protectant

I've tried Black WOW, Klasse stuff, but nothing works better than 303.

I've never had any such issues with Armorall--been using it on my e53 for 8 years now on the lower black exterior trim--and I'm in TX, too--you can fry an egg on the pavement here in the Summer.

any product will eventually dry out. Nothing will permanently eliminate the fade, unless you paint it. I have used Armorall since i owned cars with no issues, good product.

Weasel will become famous soon enough
BTW, the black wow that we all love so much is also a silicone based product... says so in the first line on the back of the bottle. While armorall is on the lower end and isn't as good as the 303 aerospace protectant, it is still ok for the plastic on the running boards and lower bumper trim etc.
