I agree with you guys, my '08 e70 is my fourth BMW, and the quality is going really bad...

Soft feeling paint is peeling, brushed aluminium parts are incredibely easy to scratch, the leather of the seat is not much better than a renault's one, plastics parts break itself easily (ashtrays, some buttons)... it sucks...

My dealer take everything under waranty spontaneously, but I'm afraid about the mecanical parts. I won't keep this car for a long time.

My e53 was really better if you consider the general construction.
