Oil filter cost

Anyone have any idea how much the dealers are charging for an oil filter on a X5d? I hit 4k and want to change the filter to take out any grit from the engine breakin before the "freebies" start.

About $20:

Part number 11 42 7 788 460 I believe, but the dealer parts guy can double check the number.

It's considerably larger than the six cylinder filter.

Lots of dealers give 10% or more discount if you're a BMW CCA member.

I think some internet places sell the Mann branded filter for $10-12 bucks.

I called my CA yesterday, who isnt really the best at getting accurate info(I knew more about the X than he did when I purchased), He called me back with some story on how with the cost of the filter being high, I would be better off getting an entire oil change. With the filter being $20 and me being able to do that change myself, I think not.
