Official lease rate for OCT. X5 35d

Hello Everybody,

Does anybody have an official lease rate numbers for X5 35d for October. I'm trying to close a deal right now over the phone, dealer is saying that the rate is .00280 yet link below tells me it's .00255. He said he doesn't belive the link and needs official document.

If somebody have it/know where to get it, please show me the way.

Don't forget that dealers can mark up the lease rate. It's not set in stone.

that's true, but that's really cheese considering the competition. I've NEVER had a dealer mark up the rate.. i just ask them to whip out the BMWFS paper.

The buy rate (base rate) for a 2010 X5d is indeed .00255.
The dealer can mark this up by .0004 and any such markup is added profit for the dealer.
This should be a negotiated item when leasing a car.
Keep in mind there is also an acquisition fee of $725. This is allowed to be marked up by upto $200. Again, it's another item to be negotiated when leasing.

When I leased my 2009 335xi last November, I agreed with the dealer on $825 acq fee (+$100 for them), and .0001 mark-up on the lease rate (I got a smoking deal on the negotiated price of the car).

I do understand that dealer can mark it up, but i at least would like him to tell me the truth that he is marking it up and that in fact the base money factor is .00255 and not .00280 as he claims.

You asked for official rates, I responded. I can't make your CA tell you the truth.

For more lease info, see here: BMW Auto Lease Programs - October 2009 - bimmerfest - BMW Forums
Those rates are good through Nov 2. After that, new rates will come out (for better or worse, who knows...).

Good luck.

I hate dealers like that, come to think of it, I never had a good experience with a dealer at all.

In the end, he's still a CAR SALESMAN! Some are truthful and some aren't. Play the game but confirm everything he tells you or make HIM show you what he's telling you is truthful.
