Self Introduction and A "THANK YOU"!

I have been posting and reading this forum for about three months,
and am now preparing to fly to SC to pick up my X5d on 11/20.

With dealer having so little information is makes places like this invaluable..

To all I want to say:

THANK YOU!!!!

With the help and discussion I feel I got it RIGHT.. the options and pricing!

I plan to do a good pictorial of the delivery and trip home..

My X5 will be the boring white with Saddle and Nappa dash...

White is not boring. I did not want white at first, but the 35d was going to be my wife's and it was her preference. When I looked at it in person, I was sold.

I love the X5 in white. That was my color choice, but she said no.

I had a White 330xi.. miss the car greatly.. If was White/Terra .. always got compliment on the Combo.. White is a stately color.

As an aside, I saw the Accessory (dual monitor) DVD system in person today. Very glad I went with it. Dealer had in price at $2550 ... Also had the trailer hitch and I see what people are talking about.. the silver muffler is visible...

BMWs look great in white. I was hesitant to get mine in white, but i get so many compliments on it. Especially if you keep it clean!
