saddle with light poplar is almost a perfect match. Dark burl is acceptable too but I saw pics of the light poplar and went with it. Not usually a fan of wood at all but since it matched, it worked for me. I have some pics in my sig.

Are you switching to a '10 diesel?

I meant next year / Spring - is that confirmed? I'm bad at keeping track of what comes when and what's confirmed. I think we need a running FAQ - I'm sure members/lurkers here who are in the market would appreciate it.

You really need to drive diesel and 3.0 one after the other.

genemish and I drove the diesel, and then 4.8, and 4.8 is just faaaaaaaster. Ignore all youtube reviews of how diesel is faster from the start - that is all BS.

In your case I am not sure whether 3.0 is going to be different from 3.5d... Diesel has that small 0.5 sec lag ... it DOES !

yep... diesel isn't much of a difference...and it makes a pinging sound in idle...

don't think it's really worth it for me... if i do decide to go all out, i'll get the 4.8...

is the gas mileage that bad??
