4.9% and $2500 credit for 2010??
I finaniced my 08 model through BMW and have been able to double my payments in order to put it behind me sooner than later...
i'm sure this should put me in a better position to negotiate a better rate when i purchase a 2010 model. thanks to this forum, and the invoice numbers that were available, I have been able to successfully negotiate somewhere in between invoice and MSRP on vehilcle price and options. but I'm not sure how this $2500 (if that is the true number) applies... can I still go about negotiating the purchase price, then expect an additional $2500 credit? what dealer "play" should I expect?

The purchase price shouldn't change. Mine stayed the same but the money factor changed from .00175% to .002% with the $2500 holiday credit. My lease payment still went down a few bucks per month but it seems like a shell game to me.

first, negotiate purchase price. THEN the holiday credit applies..
in my case, the money factor went up by 0.0002 (from 0.00180 to 0.00200) but the $2,500 more than covered for it. My lease payment is down $60 vs initial October deal i signed. Dealer was happy to honor Nov. deal. Car arriving in a few days.

With the $2,500 rebate you should be able to get at least around $1,500 under invoice maybe more. As mentioned work on the lowest price off invoice then the dealer can take the $2,500 off that.

Hey guys,
How does the $2500 credit get applied on a lease? Does it reduce the cap cost, or does it just show as an additional down payment without affecting the sale price? Thanks

I used it two years ago to negotiate a much better price for my 08... walked in, showed him my printouts and we followed my lead... i got exactly what i was hoping for... including trade-in value.. don't walk in without it...
