295/40/20, will they fit on 20" front 10j

I have a set of the above winter tyres but want to know if they will fit on an x5 3.0d m sport. Im pretty sure they will fit on the rim but wondered if there would be any catching or rubbing at the front?

I got on mine 295/30/22 on all four ! and its perfect

Look up your tire spec on TireRack. They have recommendation on what size tire will fit on the min rim size... 295's are usually on a 10.5" rim min. But, it all depends on the tire spec.
