MINIz guy is on a distinguished road
I've got my eyes set on our 2003 3.0i. My parents love the 35d and they will keep it for a long time. I guess I will grow to like it more, since all my dislikes are about technology that will be in future cars too. After sitting in it for 40 minutes due to a huge semi-truck crash, my mom found auto-hold VERY helpful. If only we understood what to do when the Live Traffic warns us of a crash, since we just ignored it thinking it was wrong. Still not a fan of the ignition system or gear lever when moving it around our driveway today.

And yes, I do know about the foot on brake for moving the gear lever. It is just my habit of turn the ignition, brake, shift gears. It is awkward to brake, press button, reapply brake and then find reverse/drive. I'll get used to it sooner or later.
